About the Role
The Diocese of Carlisle is seeking a Director of Ministry Development to lead our work in supporting, equipping and developing ordained and lay ministry across our 235 parishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the Diocesan Ministry Development Strategy
- Support the Bishop’s Staff in matters relating to ministry development
- Oversee the work of the Ministry Development Team
- Work collaboratively with Emmanuel Theological College and other training providers
Person Specification
You will be an experienced leader with a proven track record of delivering strategic change in a church or comparable organisation. A theological qualification and familiarity with the Church of England are essential.
